Like the vast majority of cities and towns in the Czech Republic, the main attraction of Trebon is found in its large and elongated Masarik Square, which is surrounded by beautiful Baroque and Renaissance style houses.

In it there is no lack of the typical Plague Column, located at the end of the square where the town hall building is located, which dates back to the end of the 16th century.

Another notable building is the Hotel Bily Konicek, one of the first examples of Renaissance architecture in Trebon, whose completion of the upper part of the façade emulates a castle.

In that same area of ​​the square is the Hradecka Gate.

On the opposite side of it is the building of the Trebon Castle, which was built at the end of the 15th century, and is currently the most important monument in this town and is a good example of Renaissance architecture.

Next to the castle there is a big park designed during the 17th and 18th centuries and is currently publicly accessible and has become one of the favorite places for walking and resting among the inhabitants of Trebon.

If you leave the square at Sviny Gate, from the 16th century, reaches the great Svet lake, on whose banks there is a neo-Gothic style chapel, the Schwarzenberska Hrobka. Built in 1877 to bury the nobleman Johan Schwarzenberg, you can visit this chapel.
