Organized by the German Embassy in Spain in collaboration with City of MadridThe next Thursday 6th, at 21 p.m., a video mapping lasting about six minutes, during which on the façade of the Alcalá gate remember the history and fall of the Berlin Wall.

To develop the show, traffic will be cut off in the surroundings of the Alcalá gate and the public lighting will be turned off, so that the video mapping It will be accompanied by a musical soundtrack.

This show, which combines light effects, graphic and sound documents, will be repeated every quarter of an hour on Friday night until midnight, with the square now open to traffic.

During the nights from Friday to Sunday the show will be presented successively, without sound, in a shortened version lasting a minute and a half that shows how the Alcalá gate transforms into the brandenburg gate de Berlin.

This exhibition is complemented by two videos and six lenticular images that, from different viewing angles, show what emblematic places in Berlin were like before the fall of the Wall and today.

The other exhibition is organized by the Hungarian Embassy. With the title Hungary, sculptured freedom, presents about 5 photographs that recall the political events in Hungary and other Central European countries linked to the disappearance of the communist regimes between 1988 and 1989.
