What is the Camiño dos Faros Hiking Route in Costa da Morte like?

There is no doubt that one of the essential places to visit on a trip to Galicia is Death Coast, which is so famous for its wild seas and its stories of navigation and shipwrecks.

But do you know that you can know la Death Coast in a very different way from mere visits to the most notable corners?

Indeed, you can go through a hiking route of about 200 kilometers that takes you from malpica until Cape Finisterre by the edge of the sea.

A group of lovers of their land, Galicia, there are already two editions of this hiking excursion which in eight stages, and along the coast, allows you to enjoy and discover these Galician landscapes in a peaceful way, between beaches, dunes, cliffs and forests.

And, of course, not missing any of the lighthouses that you find along the route, since the excursion is called O Camiño dos Lighthouses, like those of Cape Vilan,  Tip O Snoring o Cape Finisterre, which I have had the opportunity to visit recently.

Of this entire route, on my last trip to Galicia I had the opportunity to travel the stretch of Roads of the Sea, from Ponteceso to Corme.

In the first edition of O Camiño dos Lighthouses, 23 people started the excursion, and 70 finished. In the second edition, there were no fewer than 120 participants in each stage.

Now you have the opportunity to sign up for the new edition which begins on February 23, with the stage Malpica-Niñons, 23 kilometers. For the start of this third edition of the route, 300 people have already signed up.
