Indeed, since April 2012, in Corm, in the council of Get started, you can visit the Museum of Contemporary Art Costa da Morte, an initiative of Cristina Torre, widow of the Galician artist Julio Pujales, who died in 1998.

This museum is the result of the work of the Torre-Pujales Foundation, established in October 2006, which after much effort managed to make the museum project a reality.

The small town of Corme was chosen for its location, the traditional summer resort of the A Coruña painter, and very close to the Punta and the Roncudo Lighthouse, one of the emblematic enclaves of the Death Coast.

The foundation acquired the house that houses the museum and donated the almost complete work of Julio Pujales, as well as more than 300 paintings and sculptures by other authors.

In your museum visit Right from the start you will be able to appreciate its original interior architectural design, made by the architect Carlos Hurtado Casanova.

In addition to initial donations, the museum is enriching its collection through scholarships for international artists, who leave new works.

The museum is open in the months of July and August, with Visiting schedule from Tuesday to Saturday, from 12 to 14 p.m. and from 18 to 20 p.m. On Sundays it opens from 12 to 14 p.m. and closes on Mondays.
