  • We have visited the Palace of the Marquis of Santa Cruz by Don Alvaro de Bazán and we were impressed by the number of frescoes on the walls and ceilings, very well preserved despite the vicissitudes of war and the Lisbon earthquake. It is a great Jewel of which the inhabitants of Viso should be proud. The guide D. Diego spared no explanations about the works exhibited there and I highly recommend visiting that Palace. Visit price 3 Euros which is nothing for the wonders that are seen there.

  • Hello, the reviews you give are not many but they have recommended us to visit Almuradiel and that Palace, and since we live in Valdepeñas we will go in July.
They also recommended us a nearby Restaurant Venta Casa Tomás so it is worth taking a day and getting to know those architectural gems.
    Thank you

  • The name you indicate is wrong, its correct name is Palacio de Don Álvaro de Bazán, “Marqués de Santa Cruz”.
