  • In Wadi Rum we stayed at Oasis Desert Camp, it was recommended to us from Petra. We didn't know any and we took advice. Then I saw another couple of them and realized that we were in the shabbiest and dirtiest of Wadi Rum, Haimas with blankets full of dust, dirty and smelly toilets, and two showers for the entire camp. It would be the cheapest without a doubt, but because of the difference it is not worth staying here. Even those in the desert posts discredited him. The owner is a very commercial guy and we didn't have any problems with him.
