After spending the morning visiting Gloucester and its fishing port, we arrived at the scheduled time to the place from where our boat was leaving to do the whale watching excursion.

El Hurricane II It was 115 meters long and had a capacity of about 300/400 people, as far as I could calculate.

After boarding, the trip was scheduled to last about four hours.

The boat left on time and we spent some time sailing through the interior of the beautiful Gloucester Natural Harbor, and then we had to take a long journey until we could see the whales.

This new day of our Coast to coast trip through the United States It offered us an indescribable day, totally sunny, with the sea flat as a raft.

All the Whales What we saw were in a group of 3 to 5 specimens, and when we approached with the boat they made a couple of strong inhalations and exhalations, with the typical water spout, and, placing themselves in a vertical position, they submerged using the well-known tail flick that we all photographed between them. Oh s!!! of admiration. oh!!!

Although in other circumstances these cetaceans can remain without breathing for many more minutes, after 3 or 4 minutes they reappeared more or less close to where they had sunk.

For an hour and a half we were getting closer to the groups of whales that were appearing everywhere.

The truth is that we come to see many whales, sometimes closer to the boat, other times a little further away.

It was curious to see so many people enjoying the whales as if it were a sporting, musical or amusement park show.

Little by little the sun was descending over the horizon, which gave us new excuses to continue photographing the whales, now against the light, taking advantage of the shine of the sea.

We began the return to the port, which lasted almost two hours. The entrance to it was also beautiful.

The sun had been shining on us for many hours, so we left a little more tanned than when we entered.

In the end the excursion had lasted about six hours from the time the boat left, two hours longer than planned.

The company we hired to go see the whales guaranteed us that we would see them, and if not, they gave us a year to repeat the trip for free.

After disembarking, we walked for a few minutes through the store where there was a wide variety of souvenirs related to whales.

As it was still daylight, we took a drive along the coast north of Gloucester, where we were able to stop in front of a rocky beach and admire the sunset. We didn't applaud but it was to applaud this gentle nature for a while.

Then, satisfied, with our souls at peace, we returned to the hotel room for dinner, where we once again saw the photos we had taken, and from where we connected via the Internet with the rest of the world.

It has been sunny for us!! Marvelous.
