How to see Panorama, a large model of New York from the Queens Museum

A little known corner of New York, but it can bring you a big surprise if you visit it, it is the queens museum.

The order was carried out by the modeling company Raymond Lester, who had extensive experience in the design of large models.

The work took three years of work, and currently shows all the buildings, monuments, streets and bridges that were in New York 1992 the year.

With a scale of 1:1.200, it incorporates up to 895.000 buildings and up to 300 bridges. As a curiosity I will tell you the model of the famous skyscraper Empire State Building It has a height of 38 centimeters.

El New York panorama It has lighting that changes every 15 minutes, as it emulates the natural light that the city has during the day and night, with different color tones. For this, 3.172 lamps are used.
