Tras visit Capilano Park, near Vancouver, in this new stage of the road trip through the United States and Canada, we finally head to the center downtown of the Canadian city.

In the journey of about 30 kilometers, we cross and we lost through residential neighborhoods with houses and really beautiful natural and wooded environments.

Vancouver It is located south of the Pacific coast in Canada, and the name of the city is in honor of the captain George Vancouver, an English explorer.

This city is the most important in western Canada, and by population, it is the third city in the country, after Toronto and Montreal.

This was the visit to Vancouver, a city with the highest quality of life

But, above all, Vancouver has the reputation of being one of the cities in the world with the highest quality of life.

In our first day in Vancouver, we took a complete tour of the entire downtown, including the docks area of Gastown, where we could see seaplanes landing and taking off continuously.

We visited with a great walk the Stanley Park, the large central park of the city, where you find fantastic trails and a lake surrounded by willows, with a multitude of swans, ducks and seagulls, raccoons, turtles, fauna that moved freely among us during our walk.

Stanley Park It has great natural beauty and transmits sensations of peace and tranquility.

Then by car, we took a tour of the immense bridges that surround the city, which allow you to go to neighboring areas and islands.

We have been able to see various beaches in paradisiacal settings, with great views of the forests and mountains.

All the beaches were very lively.

Vancouver It is located between lakes, islands, sea inlets, calm sea, I think permanent, and we conclude that it is a rich, orderly, friendly city, with a lot of animation in the streets, many restaurants of all kinds, clean , very multi-ethnic.

It is an organized city, in a fantastic natural environment, multicultural, civilized and respectful of people, with large bridges to travel through the metropolis, suspension bridges, beautiful parks with friendly animals, fountains, sculptures, leisure, beaches. Docks, lots of seaplanes, bays.

Come on, how about staying and living now!!!

Sitting in a park overlooking the sea (or was it a lake?), we ate some sandwiches we bought at a super small one that was nearby. Fantastic sun all day, clear, blue, clean day.

When we returned to the hotel we had dinner at Denny's that was next to it, and where, unlike the United States, they did serve beers.

The best things to see and do on Granville Island

Our second day in Vancouver We started it with another copious breakfast in the Denny's next to the hotel, and we headed back to Vancouver, this time directly to granville island.

It is one of the historic neighborhoods of Vancouver that in recent years has experienced a process of urban reconversion, going from being a decaying industrial area to becoming one of the most attractive and fashionable areas of the city.

granville island It occupies the space of an island, and its greatest exponent is a large market.

Our walk of about three hours through granville island It has been a great experience.

Walking calmly, without rushing, in an idyllic environment, with a fantastic sun, water everywhere, mountains, flowers, fruit market, fish market, freedom, absolute respect for others, all blue sky, everything disorderly ordered or orderly disordered, spirits dedicated to enjoying simple things.

And, above all, the people, in harmony, with great ethnic variety, each with their own language, all sharing the air and being.

Vancouver It tells you where to go, like a story, it seems like everyone is on vacation.

You feel like you have already arrived. ¡We love Vancouver!

This was Richmond's visit

From there we took the car and headed to Richmond, a few kilometers from Vancouver.

It is a population of about 200,000 inhabitants that is part of the Vancouver metropolitan area.

We walk through this city, entering an immense template (large shopping center), where, enjoying good air conditioning, we walked for a long time.

We ate some grapes while we walked, and for dessert we had some natural strawberry and pineapple juices, freshly squeezed in front of us.

We also walked through the streets, where there was also a tram or elevated train that circulated a few meters above the ground.

De return to vancouver, We went directly to the surroundings of the Stanley Park for rent some bikes in a place that we had already located the day before.

We took a fabulous tour of a couple of hours through this park, bordering the lake or heading away towards the beaches.

It was a really nice ride.

Two hours later we returned the bikes and went for a walk through the residential areas that surrounded the park, where we could see that those who live in them really enjoy a high quality of life.

Finally, to complete our last day in Vancouver, we went to a shopping area in the neighborhood to buy our dinner at a supermarket.

At eight in the afternoon we were already at the hotel, really exhausted, but in love with Vancouver!

It has been a fantastic day, sunny, with clear blue skies.
